The Dutch company Frames is a process control and system integrator that has served the international energy market since 1984. Their LAMINOL® process for the removal of H₂S from (bio-)gas streams has been demonstrated to be highly effective at low H₂S concentrations (< 2.000 ppm).

SUSTER built an experimental set-up and demonstrated that the LAMINOL® process can also be applied at (much) higher H₂S concentrations. In this context SUSTER also determined gas-liquid mass transfer rates in a new contactor that was developed by Frames.
